Magistical Memories is having a DT call!!

Here are the details. And just to wet your appetite, I've uploaded a sample of a new chipboard release. That cool swirl is a new design by Nicole at Magistical. This could be you getting to play with all the chipboard goodness (and acrylic goodies too)! I hope you give it a try :)

Magistical Memories – “Chipboard Artist”

Magistical Memories is looking for a few awesome Chipboard Artist that can showcase our chipboard products!! If you LOVE chipboard and use it on layouts and cards you just may be the Artist for us!

We are looking for talented artists who inspire others to create.

A Chipboard Artist must have the following –

∑ The ability to showcase our products!
∑ The ability to take good photographs of their projects
∑ The ability to interact with our members on our forum

The Details –

The Magistical Memories Chipboard Artist Term is for 6 months from January 1, 2009 – June 30, 2009.
∑ Create a minimum of 3 layouts/projects per month to be featured in the Magistical Memories DT gallery; on a rotating basis you will also feature “Are You Kitting Me” kits twice during your term.
∑ Participation in the Forum and Gallery is a MUST. Participate on our message board, during online events, and leave positive encouraging feedback for our members.
∑ Submit work for publication.
∑ Monthly blog entry.
∑ Participate in Sketches, Contest & Challenges.
∑ Promote Magistical Memories by posting the above layouts/projects on other online galleries and blogs with working links to the store and forum.

Magistical Memories Chipboard Artist will receive -

∑ Magistical Memories products for your term, shipped in 2 shipments one for the first 3 months and the second for the other 3 months, participation will be rewarded.
∑ New Products release, your participation will be rewarded.
∑ Discount off all chipboard orders placed
(* Discount will be reflected in your log in information)
∑ Your bio and picture featured in our Design Team Gallery, promotion of your work in our newsletter, on the forum and blog.

How to Apply – Our DT call will be in two parts!!! We want to make sure you are the right person for us!!! But don’t worry it has perks!!!

Part 1 – Deadline October 25th (12PM PST)

Submit 3 projects via email to chipboardartistDTcall@gmail.com that best represent your talents and skills. These items MUST utilize chipboard in an obvious and meaningful way. All must be your original work, they do not have to be created specifically for this call and could have been viewed or posted elsewhere on the net.

Join and interact on our forum, we want to get to know you! Participation is required if selected and we want to see you in action!

The following Questions are required with your project submissions:

∑ First tell us a little about yourself!!!
∑ When did you start scrapbooking?
∑ How would you or others describe your style?
∑ Why are you applying to design for us?
∑ Do you have any other talents you feel that would benefit our products and how?
∑ Do you have an active blog that you update regularly? (Provide Link)
∑ Magistical Memories Forum/Gallery User Name:
∑ Are you active on any Forums or Message Boards? (Please List)
∑ Give an example of a class or technique you would like to share with others. If it is one you have done previously please link to it.
∑ Finally please provide a list of all current and past Design Team Experience (past design team work is not required) for current design teams please list your design requirements and term for that team. If you have a scrapbook resume, or a link to a gallery you would like us to see please provide that as well.

Part 2 – November 5th – November 25th (12PM PST)

You’ve shown us what you can do with your stuff we want to see what you can do with ours!

We will select 20 designers to move on and receive a sample package of chipboard!!

With these packages you will be required to fulfill the below Chipboard Artist requirements

∑ Create a minimum of 3 layouts/projects to be featured in the Magistical Memories DT gallery.
∑ Participate on our Forum and Gallery, and leave positive encouraging feedback for our members.
∑ Promote Magistical Memories by posting the above layouts/projects on other online galleries and blogs with working links to the store and forum.


All of those selected for Part 2 two will receive the same package of chipboard, so everyone will be on an equal playing field!!!

Final decisions will be made on December 5th and the new Magistical Memories Chipboard Artists will be announced shortly there after!!
